As carer for our elderly parents/in-laws, we took over the care of their hearing, continuing to use Telex Hearing Care in Gosford. Our parents first consulted Telex in 1998 and have found the staff exceptional in their care and service towards both parents (Dad passing in 2007) and to us, considering we live in the Lake Macquarie area. Telex has been a strong supporter of BHACC for the last 15 years by attending or speaking at our Expos at Annual Hearing Awareness Week. Lindsay Gillespie and his support staff also back us by sponsoring our lesson sheets provided to members who attend our weekly Hearing Loss Management Classes held on the Central Coast. Lindsay is a very approachable audiometrist and is very keen to help the hearing impaired in any way he can. He has visited our classes to see how we conduct them and he is also endeavoring to form a help group for hearing-impaired hospital patients who require assistance with their hearing aids.
